Description
The Balkan Marbled White occurs on dry grasslands, rocky slopes, in open scrub, and in grassy
clearings in woods. Sometimes, these butterflies are even seen in villages. The caterpillars feed on
different grasses. This butterfly is single-brooded and hibernates as a caterpillar.
