Butterfly Conservation Europe is a partner in this EU funded project which aims to support EU Member States in including pollinator species as typical species for the habitats protected under the Habitats Directive. The project focuses on four major groups (i.e. wild bees, syrphids, macro-moths and butterflies) for which there is enough distribution data and expert capacity at the European level to identify typical species for a large number of habitats.
The project will run from December 2024 to December 2026.
